MM Coaching Website Copywriting Project

I’m sure at some point in business, you’ve heard how important it is to build genuine relationships with people. This project is the result of one of such heartfelt connections.

Margaret and I had been Instagram buddies for about a year before we worked together.

When we met online for the first time back then, it was just an instant click. You know how you see someone online and feel you love them already?

That was exactly how I felt when we connected. She’s calm, cool, fun to chat with, and all smiles. In summary, she’s a whole vibe!

Today, I’m giving you a BTS tour of her website project. So, grab a cup of your favorite beverage and follow along.

Meet Margaret,

LIFE COACH & LICENSED THERAPIST

She is a certified professional who has helped more than 1800 people deal with anxiety, trauma, and other limitations that keep them small. And she’s been doing this for 13 whole years.

So, when I tell you this mama is qualified to help you manage all those middle-finger-deserving limiting beliefs, you best believe it.

Margaret wanted to make the shift from being a therapist to becoming a life coach so she could help more people in a larger capacity.

And this desire isn’t just because she’s got dope-ass qualifications and a record track of success, or because she invested in programs to become a better coach, but also because she once felt trapped as a new mom.

Now, she has made it her mission to help other ambitious women break through the limitations holding them back from operating at their truest potential so that they can live their dreams.

The challenge

Margaret has been a therapist for quite a while. But as a newbie coach looking to position herself in the online space, she wanted website copy that would distinguish her from others in the life coaching industry.

More so, she wanted to launch a program (a whole different case study) and needed the support of a copywriting expert she could trust.

Being her friend and occasional gist buddy, I was the go-to choice for her messaging needs.

We worked together on her entire copy—website pages and overall messaging—to create brand copy assets that reflect her mission and goals.

The solution

The process of crafting Margaret’s website copy was entirely fun.

A part of me secretly enjoys ideal/past client interviews. For me, it’s a must-do task for every website copywriting project I handle because I believe that the best way to know what’s in your client’s mind is by asking them.

For Margaret’s deliverables, I created:

  • Website copy for MM Coaching and Consulting.
  • A comprehensive brand messaging book that covers what she needs to focus on when it comes to her brand identity, core message, content ideas, and ideal clients.
  • Two custom posts for her website’s blog page.

Now, let’s talk about her website copy:

The very FIRST statement visitors see on your website should interest them enough to stay.

That’s because your homepage is the door to the remaining content of that page. So if you want to keep your ideal clients scrolling, make it enticing.

Her hero section targets her ideal client’s truest desire, which is to live their dreams.

We, as humans, have goals and plans that we want to accomplish. But sometimes, when life starts life-ing a little too hard, we tend to put a pause on these dreams—and for some, a full stop.

And this is where Margaret comes in.

She helps her “target clients” move forward by coaching them to achieve their goals. Her ideal clients are ambitious women who want more from their businesses, jobs, and lives. Women who are tired of the status quo. Women who want to make their dreams come true.

This is what her intensive one-on-one coaching program, THRIVE, addresses.

The promise is simple. You’ll awaken your truest potential and start manifesting in your full capacity.

I sprinkled a few quotes throughout her website because, why not?

MM Coaching and Consulting is about mindset work, after all. I believe some motivational quotes here and there add quite a bit of appeal to her website.

Her Services page focuses on helping them visualize what life would be like if their dreams weren’t just wishes.

It also paints a clear picture of their reality and possible future after journeying through her intensive one-on-one private coaching.

Throughout the website, I made sure her message oozed empathy, empowerment, and fulfillment.

The review

“When Sally gave me the breakdown of everything she was going to do, I knew then that I was right to choose her.

I didn’t know what direction to take my website, and for a variety of reasons, I was also reluctant to work with anyone online. But Sally works specifically with coaches, and after talking to her, I felt confident that she could help my project. She’s professional and thorough with her work, and I love her patience, timeliness, and attention to detail.

My website copy came out excellent! Sally has been a blessing, so I’ll absolutely keep working with her.” – Margaret McComiskey

The wrap-up

I love working with coaches and service-based pros, and this project was nothing short of downright fun and insightful.

Margaret built her website on Squarespace, and I love how the design brings her copy to life.

I’m truly grateful she chose to work with me, and I’m happy I could help bring her vision to life. Check out the live website.
