As a content strategist for small business owners and the software tools they use, I know that creating high-quality blog posts is key to getting visibility and improving your bottom line.
And that’s exactly what this case study is all about.
Want to see how I created blog articles for Keyhole that:
- Started ranking in a matter of weeks
- Bring in a great deal of website traffic?
C’mon, let’s dive right in.
About Keyhole
Keyhole is a social media analytics and reporting software tool.
It simplifies social media management and enables users to track their account activities in real time.
With Keyhole, you can analyze multiple profiles, hashtags, brand mentions, and social campaigns in an instant. You can learn more about its use cases on the website.
The project
The content manager for Keyhole, Sweta Panigrahi, gave me two topics that would be a good fit for the blog, and being the experienced content writer I am (yes, I’m totally hyping myself up), that was good enough for me.
- How to track Instagram follower count
- How to measure social media engagement rate
The process:
I started with keyword research to find the most profitable keyword for that topic as well as other long-tail and semantic keywords to optimize for in the articles.
Using this information, I created comprehensive SEO content outlines for the topics to guide the writing process. The outlines were clear about the estimated word count, target keywords, search intent, metadata, and article structure based on my research findings.
I wrote the two articles with this information and added screenshots and visual procedures wherever applicable to support my points.
The results:
